Blackfish and Still-shots

The documentary I decided to watch and also analyze a still image from was Blackfish. This documentary is about a killer whale named Tilikum, who has killed several people while in captivity at famous parks, such as Sea World. The still-shot image is towards the last couple minutes of the documentary at around an hour and twenty minutes. The image depicts killer whales in the wild, roaming around as a pack with their young through the wide open ocean as they should be. This scene/picture has a sense of calmness and peacefulness. It brings back a sense of good to the audience after being exposed to all the horrifying facts shown through the film. The sunset, sound of the ocean, and serene reflection of the water quickly changes the mood of the film. It is in a way a sort of "call to action." It reminds you how these animals should really be living their lives.
