I also decided to choose the documentary "Blackfish" and found this important image of an injured killer whale. I think this is important since the documentary focuses on the dangers of killer whales being in captivity to both the killer whale itself and the people working with the whale. The image is a closeup and the camera angle is straight ahead, a bit higher than the subject of interest, which shows how the whale is inferior than the camera and does not have a choice of how it should live his or her life since humans have the whale held in captivity. I would say that the color is pretty vibrant and saturated which makes sense because the picture is dealing with blood and it would not have had the same emotional appeal and effect on the viewer if it was in black and white for example. The image is also clear in order to see the detail of the injury.
