Doc. Review & Production Log

Very Rough-Rough Draft: The documentary I watched was “I Think We’re Alone Now”. This movie explores the lives of two men who are obsessed with an 80’s pop sensation. I really enjoyed the movie because it was comical, but in some ways it was also really sad. One of the men suffers from Asperger’s and the other man is a hermaphrodite. I feel like the movie in a way was making fun of their conditions. It was interesting to see how much the singer has impacted their lives though. I think the film was poorly made though, they should have used a nicer camera and maybe the camera should not have been so shaky. The film altogether was good and it explored their lives and obsession with the star in an interesting way.

Production Log: For my project I actually have learned a lot about how gross other people think the dining hall is also. My main challenge has been just trying to make the filming look nice and not make it look like a fifth grader made it.
